Delair in Romania
In January 2025, the French Army began deploying the DT46 in Romania, with fifty more units to follow throughout the year. This fixed-wing drone can be launched via a catapult or through vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL). Optimized for intelligence and observation, it provides surveillance, reconnaissance, and target acquisition capabilities thanks to its sensors and extended autonomy.
Designed for demanding military missions, it enables the collection of crucial real-time information, thereby enhancing the safety and effectiveness of field operations.
Delair and the French Army
For many years, the Delair drone range has supported the French Armed Forces in their various missions.
Delair drones carry the label “Used by the French Armed Forces,” which is issued by the forces themselves and certifies that these products are in service within the French military.
France is enhancing the reconnaissance capabilities of its artillery units with the acquisition of the long-range DT46 drones. This initiative aims to strengthen the operational effectiveness of the French ground forces in response to current challenges, particularly those posed by the conflict in Ukraine.
